Here’s my review of the Oller exhibit at the Puerto Rico Art Museum.  (Don’t want to read it, but want to know my opinion?  GO see it!)

Finishing up in Umbria – with Two Bonus Days in Tuscany

I can’t say it wasn’t wonderful reliving the whole trip as I rewrote the blog posts and chose the pictures.  Here is the last portion of the Europe Fall 2015 Journal, when we walked in the countryside around Todi, explored Orvieto and spent two days in Tuscany with friends.  If you didn’t start at the beginning of the Umbrian walking tour, click here.  If you have already read that and just want to find out how the story ends, click here for Umbria Part II.

No, The Duomo facade did not look like this when we saw it - BUT this is what it looks like in all my memories, and is therefore a more accurate version of what I want you to see.

A Walking Tour in Umbria – Part 1

At the end of my week in Mallorca, we headed to Italy, where we spent two nights and a day in Rome.  Then we struck out on the Via Flaminia, driving where Roman sandals once walked! Our destination was Gubbio, and the adventure awaiting us was a walking tour!  Please come along with me as I describe the first half of the trip!  (Part II is coming soon!)

A Surprise!

I am so excited about this latest post on the blog that I cannot wait for myself to finish a longer post.  This post is about our travel from Mallorca to Rome (no great shakes) and then the single day we spent in Rome, walking to all our favorite haunts from years past.  What’s new and surprising, is that I have embedded an annotated map into the page!  You can open it, and follow our route.  Clicking on the pins on the page will reveal pictures I took and my usual (much-too-long) commentary.  I am bursting with anticipation to see how you like the map!!  Here’s the link to the page. Please comment!
