Finally! Foiled continually by the internet service in Sicily, I outwitted its vagaries by an early morning foray into cyberspace. Thankfully, here is the last of the Berlin Journals. As my close friends know, I am off to Berlin and Sicily this coming Thursday (so stay tuned for on the road dispatches from the Old World), but I wanted to finish up the summer’s travels before I started something entirely different. And so, I hope you enjoy the journal of a day trip that Oscar and Gerry, Sr. and I enjoyed while we were visiting Gerry, Jr. in early September in Texas (with the excuse to see a TCU football game!).
