Still on the road, our first stop on June 2nd: Montgomery, AL. Click here to see why I titled it “Never on Sunday”.
We are currently on the road, driving Oscar back to Wisconsin from Miami, post graduation. Our trip is strategically arranged around places I wanted to visit for the JetsyTravels blog. Here is a post and pictures of our first stop, the Ringling History of the Circus Museum in Sarasota, FL.
I am a bit of a voyeur. I admit it! I absolutely love to visit house museums. My imagination gets to take off, and I imagine myself as part of the life of the house. Read about my tour of Ten Chimneys, the estate of Alfred Lundt and Lynn Fontanne.
Boy! Blogging is exhausting work! But I finished the blog on our trip to Truckee, Lake Tahoe, and Mono Lake. I made some minor changes to Part I, which is where you should start if you haven’t already read it or if you want to see the photograph I added of the boulders on the Nevada side of Lake Tahoe. There is now a link from the end of Part I to take you directly to Part II. Start at Part II if you just want to keep going and read about our Mono Lake adventure. (You have to click on the highlighted text to follow the links.) Enjoy!
I got back to Wisconsin last night from a wonderful week in California, in Truckee, near Lake Tahoe. Here is my journal from the first half of the trip, complete with pictures! Click here to read Truckee Tripping – Part I
