Sometimes really good things happen just because we change our plans at the last minute.  Today, I had that experience! Read about my second visit to Aztalan State Park and what a difference a guided tour by an expert archeologist can make.

    Fascinating topic and maybe you should read the Book, 1491 by Charles Mann. It changes your whole perspective on what is Old World vs New World. We were taught history from the Eurocentric theories of human culture and there is a lot of new thought on where the first civilizations were started. Pretty interesting.
