I woke up to find myself in Europe with my husband and  two sons, then ages 11 and 13, embarking on an adventure that would last until May of the following year.  Though I started the posting of the Euro-year Journal some time ago, I decided to post it serially, just the way it originally appeared.  Today is the perfect day to start!  If you want to read along, start here!
