We are on our way to Cuba today for a nine day trip with National Geographic. I do not expect to have internet access so I won’t be posting about the trip as it unfolds. Not wanting to leave you all with a void in your lives, and deprive you of my wonderful comments as I travel, I have updated the sections of this blog called Euro-Year. Euro-Year was 2001-2002 when we took our children out of school for a year and traveled in Europe. That blog now extends up to December of 2001. It might keep you entertained while you wait for us to get back and post the details and pictures of Cuba. Start here to find the sections you haven’t read. Hasta pronto.

About jetsytravels
I travel a lot and want to travel even more. I really enjoy it! I have no travel expertise or special knowledge. I do have opinions, observations, impressions and photographs to share. If I am not particularly edifying - perhaps I will be entertaining! Who am I? I have an MBA and founded a catalog business about 17 years ago, called Isla, now also online as IslaOnline.com. I am a wife, and mother of two grown (nearly) sons. I split my residential time between Puerto Rico and Wisconsin. One response »

How did I not hear about your 9-month European adventure when we were in Cuba? That’s one of my dreams: extended travel with (mature) kiddos…if I ever settle down long enough to be responsible for young ones, that is. 😉 Miss you!
