A Friday morning walk through forgotten and mostly abandoned streets in Santurce revealed a wealth of of “urban art.” I have prepared a slide show for you – but I expect comments on the pictures, and especially comments if you decide to go see this for yourself. San Juan is pretty much deserted this weekend, so it is a good time to go exploring! See the slideshow here.
Of course, one cannot be a serious, art snob all the time … we had some fun!

We even had some fun with them!

About jetsytravels
I travel a lot and want to travel even more. I really enjoy it! I have no travel expertise or special knowledge. I do have opinions, observations, impressions and photographs to share. If I am not particularly edifying - perhaps I will be entertaining!
Who am I? I have an MBA and founded a catalog business about 17 years ago, called Isla, now also online as IslaOnline.com. I am a wife, and mother of two grown (nearly) sons. I split my residential time between Puerto Rico and Wisconsin.
We were inspired by your slide show and went today and took a few photographs ourselves. I was hoping to post two of them. Thank you for your tour!
Love the murals and the color they add to the landscape – maybe an idea for a new book on Puerto Rico or a specialized tour!
