In honor of the impending visitors to Fort Worth for my son’s wedding, here is a picture-less (not by choice) post about a unique place in the United States, that just happens to be in Fort Worth! It is literally a “money factory.”
As sure as night follows day, let the temperature rise and the sun shine and, no matter that it’s January, upper Midwesterners will flock outside. And yes! Some of them will be wearing shorts! Here are lots of pictures of a Saturday afternoon walk in mid-winter Chicago.

Now, through September 1st, there is a fantastic show of Wassily Kandinsky’s work at the Milwaukee Art Museum. Don’t miss it. It’s wonderful. Here’s my review.
